3. Your Right to Cancel
Under UK consumer law (Consumer Contracts Regulations and Consumer Rights Act 2015), you have a 14-day cancellation period starting from receipt—unless you have ordered bespoke or personalised items such as customised embroidery, in which case cancellation rights do not apply.
4. Faulty or Damaged Goods
Consumer Rights Act 2015 entitles you to a repair, replacement, or refund if goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose. Please contact us with photos and your order number within 14 days of delivery.
5. Price & Payment
Prices are GBP, inclusive of VAT.
Any mandatory fees (e.g., shipping) are displayed upfront in line with UK law banning hidden “dripped” charges.
Payment is taken at the point of checkout via secure methods (e.g., PayPal, credit/debit cards).
6. Production, Delivery & Risk
We produce items within 3–5 business days after order and design confirmation.
Delivery usually takes 3–5 business days, depending on location.
Risk passes to you once the item is dispatched.
7. Liability
We aim to serve you well, but our liability for loss or damage is limited to the value of the relevant goods. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Intellectual Property
Our Original Designs
All embroidery patterns, artwork, images, product descriptions, and website content created by Whimsy Thread Ltd are protected by UK copyright and design law.
These designs remain our intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced, or resold without our written permission.
Purchasing a product from us does not transfer ownership of the design — it gives you the right to use the product for personal, non-commercial purposes only
Licensed or Purchased Designs
Some embroidery patterns or graphics we use may be sourced from licensed suppliers or purchased design marketplaces.
We ensure that any third-party designs are used in accordance with their licence terms, which may include restrictions on how they can be sold or reproduced.
We do not grant you any rights to reuse these designs outside of the product you have purchased from us.
Customer-Provided Designs
If you supply us with a design, image, or text for embroidery, you confirm that you own the rights to it or have permission from the rights holder.

Prohibited Content
We will not create embroidery that includes:
